Employee Spotlight – Robert “Bob” Walters Jr.

Robert “Bob” Walters is one of the leading Developers on our team at LabLynx. Through his 11-year tenure with the company, Bob has played a vital role in helping LabLynx continue its mission to redesign LIMS. He introduced the Microsoft .net framework for our client portal platforms, lead development for our LabVia product and created our SICKIT technology. Bob is always looking for innovative approaches to meet our clients needs, and he’s not afraid to think outside of the box.

“I’m very passionate about our clients’ satisfaction with our product,” Bob said. “I want to get things right for our clients, and there’s always something new we’re learning or working with to provide more solutions to their needs.”

Prior to his time at LabLynx, Bob served in the United States Navy. After serving for seven years, the Florida native got his start in development with Florida Power and Light, and he has continued to build a successful career in development. His advice to any interested in the industry is to never stop learning.

Bob carries this advice into his personal life. When he’s not at work, Bob likes to learn about 3D printing and home automation. He also enjoys catching an episode of the Mandalorian, dreaming of another Disney Cruise and spending time with his beautiful wife.
