About Your Role
Our clients are the most important priority there is. Every client should be a reference for LabLynx. This important position is about making sure they are well taken care of. You will spend your time building and nurturing our relationships with the people who matter most, showing genuine interest in their daily activities, issues and goals, and concern for pain points. You are their reliable source of answers, advice and solutions that perfectly fit their unique needs.
What You'll Do
- Review sales records of incoming clients, including CRM records and meeting recordings to gain familiarity
- Work closely with Sales dept. to ensure smooth handoff
- Maintain frequent contact with each and every client
- Work together with client to identify issues, bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and solutions to address them
- Respond immediately and appropriately to service requests and inquiries from client laboratories worldwide
- Conduct engaging software solution demonstrations via phone and online meetings for clients across various industries
- Develop customized quotes, proposals, and work plans based on individual customer needs and requirements
- Define, document, and review new project requirements with clients
- Help to coordinate LabLynx service providers and clients before, during and after contracted projects and services
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Maintain meticulous notes and follow-up activities in CRM systems
- Travel to represent LabLynx at client sites when needed
- Communicate effectively with Business Executives, Laboratory personnel, IT Staff, and Software Developers
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- Experience in laboratory science or related field
- 1-3 years of customer-facing work experience
- Excellent communication and people skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Good grasp of technology and ability to learn software programs quickly
- Proficiency in sales management tools (CRM, online meeting platforms, email, Excel, Word)
- Solid reasoning and logic skills, time management abilities, and analytical thinking
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a constantly changing environment
- Professional presentation and appearance for client interactions
- Willingness to travel for client requirements gathering as needed
What Will Make Us Really Love You
- Prior laboratory experience with hands-on understanding of laboratory workflows and systems
- Previous experience in technical sales or sales engineering roles
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Knowledge of laboratory informatics, LIMS, LIS or other data management systems
- Experience with SaaS or cloud-based software sales
- Understanding of healthcare, manufacturing, environmental, forensic and/or other laboratory environments
- Track record of meeting or exceeding goals and expectations
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to adapt, pivot and think out of the box to deliver

- Passion for learning technical concepts and explaining them to non-technical audiences
- Go-getter attitude with a keen eye for detail and exceptional relationship management skills
- Experience working independently with limited supervision while maintaining accountability
